Another glacier we got to see was the Lamplugh Glacier. Notice the meltwater river running through it! Google says this glacier is eight miles long, 150 feet high above the water, and only 10-40 feet below the water.

So that's 130 feet from the surface of the water to the top of the glacier?
That is correct - essentially a 13-story high glacier. Unless there is something like a boat near by, pictures of these glaciers are deceiving.
